Description
Ozlowe is a giant rat. Benjamin is a mutant plantlizard who happens to love rats for lunch. It's easy to see why these two are not going to be the best of friends anytime soon. Don't worry guys, Ozlowe will be fine. He just needs to channel his inner Jerry.
In other words, it's just another day at the Academy of Evil if the coworkers are trying to kill each other.
Ben is such a jerk to *JenL's characters. He's getting salt all over that floor that Ozlowe swept.
Okay, I think I've been working on this off and on for about a month. The idea "Ben tries to eat Ozlowe" sounds straightforward but I've tried a ton of different methods for this. The key was that Ben was supposed to look menacing without being menacing. (because come on, it's Ben.)
I even had one idea where Ben was trying to eat Ozlowe in his human form, but the picture just looked incredibly weird out of context.
I actually really like how the colored pencil came out in this picture. Compare this Ben to the last Ben I've done in colored pencil: [link]
It probably helps to build thin layers on top of colored pencil instead of pressing down too hard.
I hope you like it, Jen. I'm sorry I took so long but I really didn't want to screw Ozlowe up. I probably got his colors wrong since I have only a few colored pencils and I have to mix the colors to get different colors.
