Halloween Zafaras are awesome, but sometimes, they look a little too cute for their own good. Scuzzy undead skeletons should look more evil-looking, methinks.

This Halloween Zafara is like the Ghost Zafara in that her story for the Neopian Times was scrapped. Unlike Angst, though, I simply lost interest in HER story while Angst's story was rejected.

Basically, you take an essentric Zafara who lives in a grass hut in the middle of nowhere (nowhere being, of course, that ever-spooky forest that's both Haunted and Woods-y). Even in life, she was creepy. She had a split tail (not two tails, mind you) from a birth defect and she believed that she was destined to become the best witch in the Haunted Woods. Course, turned out that she just plain sucks at magic.

So she focused on the darker arts. Instead of learning basic spells, she focused her trade on the arts of transformation. Transformation is a very evil thing to know, after all. Course, even at that, she failed. The Zafara only learned how to turn people into one thing. Frogs, frogs, and more frogs. Even if she tried to turn you into a rabbit or a cat, she'd end up blotching it and turning you into a frog with cat ears or bunny fur. Soon the pond surrounding her house became filled with Mortogs and she grew increasingly bitter. She later died of old age, but her spirit would not rest until she turned someone into something OTHER than a frog.

So far it's been 300 years and she still hasn't mastered anything beyond a frog. Sure, now she can make freaky frogs, but still nothing beyond that. She's a bit cranky, so it's best if you run away from any rotting grass huts you run into.

And whatever you do, don't try to poke around in said rotting grass hut. She doesn't take well to visitors.

That means you, Kauvara. She'll learn a non-frog spell herself, fine thank you.

She's one of the pets I might get on another account. My main and my side Muugara are already full-up, so I bet I can fit a Halloween Zafara with a Mortog petpet somewhere in either my nearly empty side or somewhere else.

Yes, she does not have a right wrist. Her right hand just kind of floats near her, kind of like Rayman. She's kind of deteriorating.

This was VERY hard to color, what with my CD Drive being the way it is. I tried a new technique that involved expanding the pixels after I selected given areas to shade. Eh, whatever.

She doesn't have a name yet. So far I'm leaning on Arcanna (pun on arcane), Repulsa (pun on repulsive), Skelekin (pun on skeleton), Madame Grim (pun on Madame Mim from The Sword in the Stone), or Orddu (name of the witch from the Black Cauldron).
