LOZST-Soul as Black as Cole

He looks like a trustworthy fellow! Surely we should hire him and place him in our government! Nothing bad will ever befall Hyrule if we do so!
Geez, Hyrule. You did this in Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time too...

This was drawn to apologize for the sort-of lackluster fanart of this character I drew a while back, but mostly this was drawn because I was bored, I had my tablet connected to my computer, and thought "Why the hell not?". Here, have a better picture of Cole despite the fact that most of the people who play Spirit Tracks hate his guts. XD

One of these days I shall draw Bryne or Malladus. Mostly Bryne because you Bryne Cole. (Yeah, Spirit Tracks IS in fact filled with painful puns when you look at half the cast's names.)

I'm just going to come out and say that Chancellor Cole was one of my favorite characters in Spirit Tracks. Maybe it's because I like the concept of a demon going incognito and just flat out not doing a good job about it. The least he could've done was be nice to people, but no, he was a jerk as well as essentric.
Plus to be honest, I really like his design. All of the designs of the villains in Spirit Tracks was a lot better than Phantom Hourglass's villain, at least in my opinion.

Course, there's the small fact that he was Chancellor for YEARS and only Zelda really noticed. Everyone else was all "Oh, Cole is a monster? Surely you jest!"

I guess people figured that TWO top hats is classier than one top hat.

The shadow was inspired by The Princess and the Frog, and even though it's a totally cliche idea I had fun drawing it.
My original idea was to just draw his hatless, demon form to the right of him but figured the shadow idea would show his evil side better.
Plus I wanted to play with some features in Photoshop.
