Author's Notes: He was just begging for an origin story, especially since this is the third origin he's had and the first one I actually liked. Enjoy!

Author's Note: What many people don't know is that this plotline has been around since Brier's creation and had survived many incantations from then until now. It was always my plan for him to break into the castle, but his reasons for doing so were always different. This version is actually the nonviolent, friendly version of what he was going to do in the past. (One storyline actually had him murdering the scientists in their beds. I drew this to apologize for the botched up anatomy in the last picture...
...only to completely mess up on Catherine there. I just can't draw humans. XD

No comment on Catherine because she reeeeeally sucks right there. WHY DO ALL OF MY FEMALES LOOK LIKE DUDES WITH BOOBS? D8

This picture started out as just Ben transforming (since quite a few people said they wanted to see more picture on that subject) and the pose he was in looked sad so I made him sad. Catherine and later Biscuit Chip (her pet cybernetic condor. Anyone's who's played Crash 2 should recognize what it is) came later because I know several people also wanted to see Ben and Catherine together.

Sort of explains the dynamics between these two. Ben sort of sees her as someone he can talk to (he certainly can't talk to KUKI or any of the N. Team members or anyone else, that's for sure), Catherine sees him as an intriguing and attractive guy.
One-sided crush? Maybe. I'm still trying to figure out how much older Ben is compared to Catherine. XD

Ha hah, I'm such a tool. XD (Well, there was that picture where she's riding him like a Titan, but I doubt that counts)

Again, used a picture to experiment with backgrounds.
BEHOLD! GRASS BRUSH AND GRADIENT FILL! THEIR POWERS COMBINE TO FORM...I have no idea.

It's sunsetty because
1. I like the colors and
2. When Ben shifts (and he needs to or else he'll go into cardiac arrest and die), he tries to take in as little sunshine as possible. The more sunlight, the faster and more painful the change is. He likes it slow and only mildly painful rather than a sudden shift with sudden spears of agony jabbing him in various parts of his body. Hence, sunset.

Yeah, I actually thought he was pretty adorable crying myself. I was almost tempted to submit the picture by itself but he really needs someone to cry to. XP

Hey, he's only human. (Well, human ENOUGH) Only natural that he cry sometimes. XD He's going to deny that he ever cried the next day. Just watch.

Hmmmm...I wonder how that would work. Catherine is around 18-ish, but I'm sure she hasn't been enrolled as long as Nina so she's probably one of the oldest students at her grade level. (Awww, poor Catherine. XD) I think she would end up with him as a homeroom teacher, though. She'd try her hardest to be the teacher's pet.

The only thing is that she's Gin's daugher, isn't her? She can't join every storylines too good... Well... It's your work solve her age and status at school, don't you think?

Of course I know that song, SO GOOD!!

It fix Andelina and Igma too, I drew Andelina and Igma singing that song several times and Andelina jumping and dancing like the men in the videoclip

Yeah, that's the main problem with Catherine is the fact that she's N. Gin's daughter and thus, that can cause problems in everyone else's storylines. Benjamin doesn't conflict because he's not related with anyone (although I joke that Dingodile was his idea). I always figured that N. Gin had her when he was still "attractive" and he went a little crazy after Catherine's mom died (or divorced him. The divorce thing is starting to sound pretty tempting) and figures that since he scored once, he can score again. XD

Yeah, I'm going with the whole "late transfer" thing. She's probably either in Nina's grade or just below her despite being about five years older than her.

Whoa, someone actually knows a song from The Police?
