When the six hybrid babes arrive in sorrow,
At the great palace of the Desolate King.
They must brave the dreaded path alone,
And escape the wrath of The Queen.

Advanced Art Project: Mixed Media Fantasy.
Time Took: 6 hours

Look! I turned a project in art class into fanart!
I placed five of the six hybrid children (Torin couldn't fit) into a desolate landscape. In the background is Mortigon's palace and The Queen. In the middleground is a very dense forest full of dead stuff. In the foreground is Glacier, Calub, Karydor, Harmony, and Pyran.
This scene appears in Chapter...8 or so. They're at an oasis so to speak, hence the grass. Nothing is spoiling here, except for the fact that Harmony's ponytail has been undone. (Don't ask why Glacier's naked. XP)
The characters in order of how well they came out
Pyran looks positively stunning!
Glacier, save for her lack of pants, looks cool with the sun reflecting off her white body.
Harmony's highlights were neat. My friends thought that she was an otter or a weasel.
Karydor. I messed up on her hair.
The Queen. She's the giant bat thing in the background. She's so fun to draw, but she only took ten minutes.
Calub Dear God, I messed him up sooo badly. I SMEARED INK ALL OVER HIS FACE AND I TRIED DESPERATELY TO COVER IT UP!
This is part Prismacolor, part ink, part paint, and part...salt. Yes, the rocks have salt imbedded in them. Real salt. It looks so cool.
This is supposedly unfinished, since I have a whole nother day to work on this, but it was either take a picture of it now or take a picture of it a month later.
Flaws that I know exist The castle's wonky looking, CALUB, Karydor's hair, CALUB, Pyran's sword, CALUB.
