He's so cheery for the terrifying specter of a tortured hospital director, forced to haunt the ruins of the hospital he once ran and performed deadly experiments in.
Also the game that contains his heartbreaking diary is being released this month! Hooray, now everyone can see just how bad of a husband this man was when he was human.
More Dr. Maddiman from the pretty dang awesome monster catching game Yo-Kai Watch because he's a weird little one-eyed cutie patoot.
Normally I'm really hesitant about submitting things I didn't spend a thousand hours on or put a thousand shading and lighting layers on (in fear of somehow losing my artistic touch and I'm a real paranoid ninny when it comes to my own art) but every so often a drawing sneaks away that looks completely fine on its own without all the bells and whistles.
Case in point, this piece I did for a 60 minute limited palette challenge for Yo-Kai Watch. I was debating just sticking it in a sketch dump but...I like how this came out. So up it goes on DA.
Only two colors were used in this, and both of them are on Dr. Maddiman's character model. What an oddly pleasing color scheme, even though I'm sure it's meant to reference the human circulatory system.
