Edit: Fixed some minor issues with the fingers. Might tweak it again tonight.

Wow, I drew fanart of a cartoon that's actually still on the air. Too bad no one's going to know what the cartoon is anyways. :XD:
Discovered this cartoon entirely on accident too. I think I was flipping channels when I saw some guy with two brains melt stuff into goop with a ray. Seemed right up my alley.

Dr. Two-Brains is a doctor with two brains. Simple.
He used to be Dr. Steven Boxleitner, who tried to read Squeaky, his pet lab mouse's, mind with a complicated machine of his invention. However, since he's a scientist in a cartoon, the experiment Went Horribly Wrong and now he's an albino mad scientist (even though he has no problem with sunlight) who likes inventing ray guns that turn things into cheese or stealing cheese to feed his cheese addiction. Oh, and that's an exposed mouse brain grafted to his head, and if mouse brain doesn't get enough cheese, mouse brain fights with him.

It's better than it sounds, trust me. It also helps that they do a good job writing the character. They make fun of the cheese-related crime waves without getting into "hint hint wink wink OH AREN'T WE CLEVER?" territory.

However, I'm ashamed to admit that this character comes from a PBS cartoon called Word Girl. Why am I ashamed to admit this? Because I think I'm a little too old to be watching cartoons on a channel with educational programming.

And yet the show is actually pretty clever, doesn't insult my intelligence when I watch it, the educational portion is basically "use big words in dialogue " which needs to happen more often in cartoons, and I'm honest when I say that the flash animation actually isn't that bad, and this is coming from someone who is really picky with her flash cartoons. It's not FLUID 90'S HAND-DRAWN 2D stuff, but it uses color well and at least tries to use Flash as a medium instead of a timesaver (especially in the later seasons, which have more inbetween frames and have detailed backgrounds) so there's that.
Because really, in the end, Flash really isn't going away and it should be used well rather than be the reason why no one likes anything on TV nowadays.

I actually really really like how the line-quality and the Photoshopping came out, not to mention the pose feels more fluid than the other times I've drawn fanart.
It just bugs me that I still couldn't think of a decent background.
